This is the best address for anyone who wants historic Gdańsk literally on their doorstep. Our apartments in this area — on Świętojańska, U Furty, Ogarna and Garncarska streets — sit among the lanes people have walked for hundreds of years on their way to Długi Targ, the Neptune Fountain and St. Mary's Basilica.

Distances (walking routes): Długi Targ — about 5 minutes. The Żuraw crane and Długie Pobrzeże — under 5 minutes. Gdańsk Główny railway station — 10–12 minutes. The Museum of the Second World War — about 10 minutes. Everything people come to Gdańsk for is within walking distance, no public transport needed.

Who this area suits. First visits and short stays where every hour counts — instead of commuting, you simply step out and you are there. Evening strollers: the illuminated townhouses and the Motława embankment are within arm's reach.

Who it suits less. Those looking for silence in midsummer — this is the busiest part of the city and in season it stays lively late. Light sleepers will prefer Toruńska or the Lower Town, still within walking distance of the Old Town.
