Długie Ogrody — what to know
Długie Ogrody is a wide, historic street running east of the Motława — an old route along which the burghers of Gdańsk once laid out gardens and summer residences. Today it is a calm, residential part of the city centre with good public transport and the Old Town a short walk away. Our apartments are in newer buildings right on the street.
Distances (walking routes): the Żuraw crane — about 8 minutes. Długi Targ — 10–12 minutes via Wyspa Spichrzów (Granary Island) and the Green Bridge. The restaurants on the Motława — a few minutes. Trams and buses from Długie Ogrody take you straight to the centre and beyond.
Who this area suits. Those who value balance: close to the Old Town, but without its prices and bustle. Guests travelling by car — the wide street and newer buildings make logistics easier. Longer stays with everyday shopping next door.
Who it suits less. Those looking for a postcard view outside the window — Długie Ogrody is an ordinary city street; the pretty Old Town begins a few minutes away.
Parking. Most apartments come with a parking space — if a given apartment has one, you will find that information stated directly in its listing.
