Once we have warmed up nicely – as I wrote about in an earlier article (WHERE TO “WARM UP” IN GDAŃSK ON COLD EVENINGS – FAMILY AND NOT FAMILY DRINKS), it’s time to grab a bite to eat. Let’s prepare your mouth for a journey full of aromatic adventures, because I will present you a guide to places where you can eat a really good craft burger in Gdańsk! The following locations are real gems on the city’s culinary map, and the burgers served there will surely satisfy the appetite of many gourmets.
I have three suggestions of restaurant for you, these are the burger places I visit most often in the center of Gdańsk, the first one is the top of the top. ????
Rednek by Stah
Rednek is my favorite burger place in Gdańsk, quite unusual because instead of beef, the burgers are filled with pulled pork. The use of pork seems outrageous, but its juiciness and taste exceed all expectations. The standard set includes fries (sweet potato fries are also available), although the bun is large enough that you can easily eat just the burger. Moreover, the restaurant offers quite a lot of craft beers. What’s more, the place also serves typical Polish street food, i.e. zapiekanki. Another advantage of this location is the friendly service and atmospheric interior design.
Carmnik Kantyna
Here we are dealing with traditional beef burgers. The meat in the burgers is juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the bun has a crispy and tasty crust. Homemade fries topped with cheese are equally tasty. You can also drink craft beer here.
An intimate place – the decor from the 80s is extremely atmospheric. Very nice and helpful staff who will be happy to tell you about the ingredients used in the burger and prepare delicious linden flower “tea”. I recommend the spicy burger, you might be surprised ????.
Billy’s American Restaurant
The last restaurant is a combination of a burger restaurant and a steakhouse, i.e. a “typical” American restaurant. Upon entering the premises, you will be transported back in time to the 1960s in the United States. Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe and other icons of American culture look at us from the walls. The place is quite crowded due to the proximity of the Motława River, but delicious steaks made of high-quality beef will make up for the wait. Ideally, we can catch a moment when they serve burgers or steaks made from American bison meat. In addition, the menu also includes wings, cheesecake, pastas and many others.
Apartments
Some of our apartments for rent are located almost next to the above-mentioned restaurants, and unfortunately we have to walk as much as 5 (five) minutes to get to the furthest ones :). Thanks to this, even after a large and heavy meal, we can quickly reach the apartment.
