How to leave your luggage: step by step

The room is open around the clock and there is no staff on site. You do everything on the screen next to the lockers, and it takes a few minutes.

  1. Walk into Toruńska 11/U1. On the screen choose the locker size and time, enter your e-mail address and pay by card or phone.
  2. Set your own four-digit code. The locker opens: put your luggage in, close the door and pull it to check that it is locked. You receive a confirmation with the locker number by e-mail.
  3. Come back any time, choose to collect your luggage on the screen and enter the locker number and your code.

During the paid time you can open the locker as many times as you like, for example to add your shopping or take out a jacket. Choose “just open” and the rental continues. Only “finish” ends the rental and frees the locker.

Book online or just walk in

You do not need to book: walk in, pay at the screen and leave your luggage straight away. Online booking helps in two situations. The first is peak season and big events, when you want to be sure a locker is free. The second is a longer stay: online you choose anything from 12 hours to 7 days, on site only 12 or 24 hours.

On the booking page you choose the locker size, the start day and time, and pay by card. You receive the locker code by e-mail straight away. If you book for later than an hour from now, the locker number arrives in a separate e-mail about an hour before the start. You can book up to 7 days ahead, and times are given in Polish time.

What fits in a locker and what you cannot leave

A Medium locker takes a cabin suitcase, usually two, plus a backpack. A Large locker takes a large suitcase plus a cabin suitcase. The luggage in one locker may weigh up to 20 kg in total and has to fit without forcing. A folded pushchair can be left if it fits the locker dimensions. Bikes, skis and snowboards are usually longer than a locker.

You may not leave flammable or dangerous materials, animals, perishable food, or wet and dirty items in a locker. The terms also exclude cash, jewellery, ID documents, passports, keys and other valuables, so keep those with you. A laptop or camera can be left in a case or bag. The full list is in the terms of the luggage storage.

Is my luggage safe

Your luggage sits in a steel locker closed with a code you set yourself. The room has 24-hour video monitoring, and the system records every locker opening. Keep your code private: anyone who knows the locker number and code can open it. If a locker fails or you have a problem with your code, call +48 603 570 008, daily from 9:00 to 24:00.

When luggage storage comes in handy

Most often before check-in and after check-out. You arrive in the morning, but your apartment or hotel is ready from 3 p.m., so you leave your suitcases and go sightseeing straight away. On the day you leave, you check out before noon and your train or flight is in the evening: your luggage waits in the locker while you enjoy the rest of the day in Gdańsk. It also helps cruise and ferry passengers with a few hours in town, and anyone heading to the Christmas Market in December with luggage.
