A 30 m² studio for 4 people on Chmielna Street on Granary Island in Gdańsk. Shades of blue throughout the interior, a mural of shipyard cranes on the wall, a separate sleeping area, and a balcony overlooking the ruins of a former granary. It’s a 10-minute walk from here to Długi Targ.
LAGUNA is blue, as its name suggests: a cobalt-blue pull-out sofa, a sky-blue wall next to the bed, and turquoise accents brighten up the entire studio. The strongest accent is the black-and-white graphic of shipyard cranes covering the entire wall above the sofa—a very Gdańsk-inspired motif. The sleeping area with a double bed is separated by a partition, on the other side of which a TV hangs; the couple sleeps separately, though it’s still a single open space.
The apartment sleeps four: there’s a double bed in the bedroom and a pull-out sofa in the living room. From the balcony, you look directly at the brick ruins of a former granary across the street—a piece of Granary Island’s history right outside your window every day. The kitchenette is equipped with an induction cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and coffee maker; the bathroom has a shower and a washing machine. There is a Smart TV and an elevator. A parking space in the garage is available at no extra charge—advance reservation required.
Chmielna 71 is a quiet spot in the heart of Granary Island — the Błękitny Baranek granary, part of the Archaeological Museum, is just a three-minute walk from the door, and it’s a 10-minute walk down Chmielna and Ogarną streets to Długi Targ and the Neptune Fountain. You’ll pass the restaurants on Stągiewna Street and the Motława River waterfront along the way.
LAGUNA is ideal for a couple, two couples, or a small family on a city break—it’s compact but features a separate sleeping area and a view steeped in history. If there are six of you, check out GRAND in the same building—it has two bedrooms with access to the garden.
