A 27 m² studio for 3 people in the Dwie Motławy development on Toruńska Street in Gdańsk. A navy blue bed against a backdrop of wooden slats, feather-patterned wallpaper, and a balcony overlooking the Motława River. It’s a 13-minute walk from here to Długi Targ.
SWEET’s greatest asset overlooks the water: the balcony looks directly out onto the Motława River, so morning coffee and the evening light on the river are a given here. Inside, the atmosphere is calm and cozy—a navy blue, upholstered bed against a backdrop of wooden slats, feather-patterned wallpaper, a vintage clock, and gray velour chairs around the table by the window.
Three people can stay here: there’s a double bed and a pull-out sofa for one person. Despite its compact size, the kitchen is full-sized—equipped with an induction cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and coffee maker; there’s a washing machine in the bathroom. The building has an elevator.
Toruńska 20 is located on the southern headland, right on the Nowa Motława River—hence the name of the development: Dwie Motławy. It’s a 13-minute walk to Długi Targ and the Neptune Fountain via Chmielna Street, past the Błękitny Baranek granary and the Archaeological Museum; along the way, there are restaurants on Stągiewna Street, and just past the bridge lies Dolne Miasto with the charm of its old tenement houses.
SWEET is perfect for couples and groups of two or three who’d rather wake up by the water than on a busy street. If you’re looking for a similar vibe in lighter colors, check out COLOR in the same building—white, blue, and floral prints.
