A movie night here goes like this: the lights go out, a large screen descends from the ceiling, the projector starts up, and a retro popcorn machine clatters away in the background. Instead of a TV, CINEMA has a real home theater, the screen hangs against a wall of black slats, and movie posters and a chandelier with exposed bulbs complete the atmosphere. The colors are also straight out of a movie theater: the burgundy velour of the corner sofa, graphite walls, and yellow accents. In the bedroom, a burgundy, upholstered headboard spans the entire wall, with backlit niches shining above it.

The apartment sleeps four: there’s a double bed in the bedroom and a pull-out sofa in the living room. The apartment is on the ground floor and has a small garden, in the summer, you can enjoy your evenings outdoors. The kitchenette is equipped with an induction cooktop, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, and coffee maker; the bathroom has a shower and a washing machine. The building has an elevator. A parking space in the garage is available at no extra charge, advance reservation required.

Chmielna 72 is located in the central part of Granary Island, away from the hustle and bustle of Długi Pobrzeże, but close to everything: It’s a 9-minute walk to Długi Targ with the Neptune Fountain, down Chmielna Street, past the Błękitny Baranek granary, and across the Krowi Bridge to Ogarną Street. Along the way, you’ll pass restaurants on Stągiewna Street and the Motława River waterfront.

CINEMA is perfect for couples and families who, after a day of sightseeing, prefer their own movie to hotel TV, and for anyone who thinks popcorn from their own machine tastes better. For larger groups, CINEMA and the adjacent POP ART are rented together, the two apartments can accommodate a total of six people.
