Majaland Gdańsk — Everything You Need to Know
Updated:
Majaland is one of the newest and most exciting amusement parks for young children in Pomerania/Gdańsk. If you’re planning a visit here, here’s everything you need to know before stepping into this fairy-tale world full of magic, colors, and joy!
What exactly is Majaland?
Majaland is a chain of amusement parks; the Gdańsk location is one of three such parks in Poland (the other two are in Warsaw and Kownaty). The Gdańsk location opened on June 1, 2024, and has been attracting crowds of children and their parents ever since.
How do I get to Majaland?
The park is located at Meteorytowa 12, 80-299 Gdańsk, and a large parking lot is available for those arriving by car. For those who prefer public transportation and plan to travel from downtown Gdańsk, we recommend taking bus line 210, which departs from the Main Train Station (for those living closer to the Main Town, the “Hucisko” stop is more convenient); get off at the “Owczarnia” stop and walk about 500 meters.

How long it takes from the centre. By car from central Gdańsk to Osowa it is roughly 20–25 minutes on the ring road outside peak hours. By public transport, allow about 40 minutes on bus 210 from the Main Train Station, including the walk from the „Owczarnia” stop. If you are staying in the centre and plan a full day at the park, set off in the morning — the ring road back into town can crawl in the afternoon.
Ticket Prices and Hours of Operation
How the pricing works. A day ticket covers children and adults over 85 cm tall, and buying it online costs less than at the gate. Toddlers under 85 cm get in for a symbolic one złoty. There are cheaper options too: an afternoon ticket for the last hours of the day, and reduced entry for seniors over 65, pregnant women and visitors with disabilities. Parking at the park is paid separately, and an annual pass covering every Majaland park in Poland is also available. Check the current amounts on the park’s official website — prices change with the season, so we deliberately avoid quoting figures that go stale.
The park is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. However, opening hours may vary depending on the month, so it’s a good idea to check the details on the park’s official website.
The Most Interesting Attractions
Majaland offers a wide range of attractions tailored to different age groups. It’s the perfect place for both toddlers and slightly older children. Here you’ll find:
- carousels such as the Butterfly Carousel or the Dinosaur Carousel,
- rides on the Smurf Roller Coaster, the Flying Dutchman, and the Swaying Tree,
- slides, themed playgrounds,
- and during the summer season, the Dancing Fountain, the Little Firefighters, and the Aqua Team Playground water area with slides.
Although Majaland is primarily a children’s park, there’s plenty of entertainment for adults as well. It can be a great opportunity to feel like a kid again and simply enjoy time spent with your family. Adults can also take advantage of the park’s numerous restaurants, cafes, and relaxation areas.
