SECRET is a studio in light oak and white. The floor is laid in a herringbone pattern, the wall behind the bed is clad in wood, and next to it a TV hangs on a wall with decorative mouldings. Above the sofa there is a photo mural of three figures made of leaves, grey chairs stand at the round table, and mustard cushions and a gold ceiling lamp add colour. The kitchenette has grey-green fronts and a wooden wall above the worktop, and the bathroom has grey speckled terrazzo-style tiles, a round mirror and a wooden cabinet under the washbasin.
The studio sleeps four: a double bed and a sofa bed for two, all in one room, which is cooled by air conditioning in summer. From the room you step out onto a third-floor balcony with a small table and two chairs. The kitchenette has an induction hob, an oven, a fridge, a kettle and a coffee maker, the bathroom has a glass-screened walk-in shower and a washing machine, and a lift goes up to the floor.
Portovo is on Mostek Street, by the Motława bypass channel (Opływ Motławy), the former moat with a green walking path along it. Długie Ogrody is on one side and the revitalised Lower Town on the other, and Długi Targ with the Neptune Fountain is about a 24-minute walk (1.7 km) straight along Długie Ogrody. Tram and bus stops are nearby.
SECRET suits couples and solo travellers, and in summer also those who do not cope well with the heat. Two friends sleep separately, one on the bed and one on the sofa bed, and a family with a child uses both. If a river view matters to you, GLAM is in the same building.
