POSH is a three-room apartment for a larger group in the Scala development on Łąkowa Street in Gdansk’s downtown. Bright walls and wooden furniture combine with terracotta accents – zebra motif pillows on sofas in the living room, orange inserts by the beds in the bedrooms. The balcony overlooks the brick facades of neighboring buildings, and it’s a five-minute walk to the Stągiewny Bridge.

The Scala development is located on Łąkowa Street, in Gdańsk’s Śródmieście district, on the east side of the Motława River. From Łąkowa, it’s a 5-minute walk to the Stągiewnego Bridge, which leads to Granary Island. Długi Targ, Mariacka, and Główne Miasto are just a few minutes further on. Trams and buses from Łąkowa go directly to Gdańsk Główny Station.

There are two bathrooms in POSH: in the main one stands a bathtub with a shower in light marble, and the other is a separate toilet with a wall-mounted sink. With eight people, it’s practical to split mornings – one person takes a shower, while the other uses the toilet at the time. The kitchen has an oven, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker, so cooking and cleaning up after dinner for 8 people doesn’t take all evening.

It works well for two couples sharing an apartment – each has his own bedroom, and the two bathrooms are shared. The single beds in the second bedroom can be combined into one wide bed, so the couple doesn’t have to sleep separately. A family with children of up to eight fits comfortably, and sofa beds in the living room add spare space for older siblings or grandparents. It also suits a weekend group of friends – POSH has room to cook, eat and talk, not just sleep.
